Anonymous access

You can access our Web site home page and browse our site without disclosing your personal information. We do not automatically log personal information, nor do we link information automatically logged by other means with personal information about specific individuals.

The only personal information we collect about you is the information that you give us, which is through the application process and by emailing your personal details.

What information do we collect?

We collect the personal information that you volunteer for the purpose of using our services and for statistical reasons. This usually includes your name, physical address, email address, phone number, and job title. We do not collect information about our visitors from other sources, such as public records or bodies, or private organisations.

All information collected will be held by the New Zealand Growth Capital Partners (NZGCP). NZGCP, for administration purposes, uses various NZGCP databases and databases to which NZGCP subscribe to, including data storage, data mining and data processing.

What will we use your information for?

The information held by NZGCP will be used for the purpose for which you have provided the information to NZGCP, which is to receive NZCGP’s services and for NZGCP’s collection of statistical information.

We will generally not share personal information that is provided or collected through this site, unless it is necessary to do so for the purpose for which you gave us the information or where you consent. We may provide anonymous statistical information to government bodies and relevant parties within the ecosystem. We will not otherwise disclose personal information provided to us unless required or otherwise permitted by law.

How long will we keep your personal information for?

We will keep your personal information for as long as necessary to achieve the purpose we collected it for.

Public Records, Official Information and Parliament

Information you supply to us may constitute public records and be retained to the extent required by the Public Records Act 2005.

We may also be required to disclose that information under the Official Information Act 1982 or to a Parliamentary Select Committee or Parliament in response to a Parliamentary Question.

Your rights under the Privacy Act 1993

Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to access and to request correction of any personal information you provide to the NZGP.

If you would like to see the personal information relating to you that NZGCP has stored, or to change such personal information, or if you have any concerns regarding your privacy, please contact our Privacy Officer via email at privacy@nzgcp.co.nz.

NZGCP may require proof of your identity before being able to provide you with any personal information.
